Root barriers are used to deflect tree roots
downward as they grow. They are excellent for
use in the planting of new trees, to prevent the
spread of roots following root pruning and to
protect land and hardscapes from root damage.

Root Barriers come in 24" wide and 12,18,24,36 or 48" deep inter-
locking panels that are manufactured of an extruded polyethylene.

Root Barriers were designed for use in municipal
planting projects and for specification by engineers
and landscape architects. They mitigate the damage that
can be caused by migrating roots, significantly reducing
uplifted streets and sidewalks and the attendant costs
of maintenance and pedestrian hazard.
